Introduction to the School of International Education

The School of International Education was founded in 2008, as one of the windows to implement BIT's international exchange, cooperation and international development strategy. The major function of the School of International Education is to co-organize and manage, with related academic schools, the degree programs for the Chinese students enrolled in the Chinese-Foreign cooperation education programs within the national college enrollment plan, and to organize the degree programs for the Chinese students enrolled in the Chinese-Foreign cooperation education programs not within the national college enrollment plan.

 

 

The School of International Education actively brings in quality international resources in higher education, and the school has carried out multi-mode and multi-level international education programs.
The Chinese-Foreign cooperation education programs in the Bachelor level are:

 

1. The Double Degree Bachelor Program in Accounting between BIT and University of Reading Approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education (MOE Reference No. MOE11UK2A20131372N, co-organized with the School of Management and Economics); the students in this program is included in the National College Enrollment Plan, and students will be conferred with two diplomas from both universities upon graduation.

 

2. The Bachelor Program in International Economy between BIT and Utah State University Approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education (MOE Reference No. MOE11US2A20020445O); The students in this program is excluded from the National College Enrollment Plan, and students will be conferred with the diploma from the Utah State University upon graduation.

 

 

The Chinese-Foreign cooperation education programs in the Master level are:

 

1. The Master Program in Professional Education and Human Resource Development between BIT and the Technical University of Dresden Approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education (MOE Reference No. MOE11DE1A20020427O); The students in this program is excluded from the National College Enrollment Plan, and students will be conferred with the Master diploma from the Technical University of Dresden upon graduation.

 

2. The EMBA Program in Compliance and Corporate Governancebetween BIT and HTWG Constance University of Applied Sciences in Germany for Daimler.

 

These programs closely meet the need of the market economy, and have won good social reputation and recognition from the students with their high quality. The School of International Education has brought out 1189 excellent students with international background, including 284 with master degree and 905 with bachelor degree. Currently, there are 1148 students in the school.
